This exercise is Qi Gong at its simplest. Qi Gong means
"Breath Work" or "Energy Work", and that is exactly what we are about to do;
learn to breath.
When doing Qi Gong exercises it is important not to try and rush
them, otherwise the full benefits will not be realised. All too often people want to rush on to the next exercise just to say that they know x amount of
Qi Gong. Remember that quantity is not always quality. (It is better to do one exercise well than a thousand
badly).
This could be likened to two people going from A to B one goes along the motorway/freeway and one takes the country lanes. One is just intent on getting there and sees and experiences nothing,
where as the other takes his time and enjoys the countryside and enjoys the journey and experience.
