Turn waist slightly to right and circle your right hand outwards and upwards until it is in front of your chest with palm facing downwards. Left hand moves across your abdomen to finish in front of your Dan Tien , with palm facing upwards. Shift weight on to right leg and move your left foot to the side of your right foot, with toes touching the ground and heel off the floor. You are now in hold ball position; look at your right hand. |

Waist turns to face 11 o'clock as your left foot steps back and out to 8 o'clock heel touching floor. |

Place your left foot flat on the floor, whilst bending your left leg to form left Bow Stance (Gong Bu), and turning your right heel outwards slightly. At same time the left arm moves upwards to roughly eye level with palm facing obliquely up and elbow slightly bent, while simultaneously the right hand moves down to side of right hip palm facing floor. |

It is important to keep your lower back straight and relaxed and make sure your knees do not pass your toes.
Inhale as you move into hold ball and exhale as you place heel out and move into final position. (Part Wild Horse's Mane).
